Advising Resources Welcome to the SDS Advising site. The department has a number of resources to help advise you, as well as can provide pointers to other college and university services. SDS Academic Advisor Connie Angermeier (can be reached at (412) 268-3251, cla2@andrew.cmu.edu) can answer many of your questions about completing requirements and units. Connie maintains the information on all students enrolled in any program in Social and Decision Sciences and she is the person who does graduation checks, making sure that all requirements have been completed. She can do academic audits for you, tell you about your current standing, and answer questions on all sorts of administrative minutiae. Program Advisors We encourage you to meet with your program advisor at least twice a year. We can answer many of your questions about Social and Decision Sciences programs. Prior to meeting with your advisor for the first time, please fill out the Advisee Information Form. Our experience shows that it takes about 10 minutes to complete. This information will be available to your advisor. Your program advisor is the best person to contact for questions about program and course content, how courses fit into the program, and academic advising.
